Lost trivia

from dictionary.com:

Dharma =

"The principle or law that orders the universe"
"One of the basic, minute elements from which all things are made"

----------------------------------------------------

If you lay out the alphabet a=1, b=2 etc etc, then continue so 27=a, 28=b etc... you get this:

4: The 4th letter in the alphabet is D

8: The 8th letter in the alphabet is H

15: If you add 4 + 8 + 15, you get 27 which wraps back to A.

16: 4 + 8 + 15 = 27, and 4 + 8 + 15 + 16 = 43. 27 + 43 = 70 which gives you a R.

23: 16 + 23 = 39, which is M.

42: 4 + 8 + 15 + 16 + 23 = 66, and 23 + 42 = 65. 65 + 66 = 131 which is an A.

D H A R M A hmmmmmmmm

----------------------------------------------------------

Dr. Candle, in the film, said "the button must be pushed every 108 minutes. (108 = sum of all the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42)

-----------------------------------------------------------

4 8 15 16 23 42

8 & 15 - 815 - The flightnumber of the plain from Australia to LAX.
16 - Jack, Kate and Charlie finds the pilot in the cockpit 16 hours after the crash (episode 101)
23 - There were 23 survivours from the back of the plain (episode 203)
42 - There were 42 surviviours from the front of the plain

----------------------------------------------------------------

Right now this theory is not my own. It has been posted on another forum, but I have no come across it on here before. And from reading a lot of posts on this GREAT site, I would love to hear all of your great LOST expertise on this theory.

Basically the theory is that the first time we see the hatch, when Desmond is getting ready and doing chiups and taking his medicine and the next time we see that scene. It is two different timelines or the first time we see it is a flashback from a while back.

From looking at both episodes "Man of Faith, Man of Science" and "Adrift" There do seem to be some inconcistencies between the station e.g. the record player is different in both episodes, as are the lamps, on both accounts there seems to be an old player and lamp and then a newer more modern player and lamp in the other episode. Plus there are some issues with cleanliness and general things.

Now I agree these COULD be continuit errors but if they are they are pretty huge ones, cos I mean the things that are wrong e.g. the record player are completley different between episdoes, anyway, There are links below to the images so you can make up your own minds.
I stil don't know what to think about this one.....

The Lamp:

The Record Player + Cabinet:

The Wall:

The Living Quarters:

So I put it to you, the LOST community to unravel this potential mystery, all thougts welcome.....

I have also heard when we see the stations interior for the first time we dont see the person face, it could actually be Kelvin and not Desmond. I dont now what the explosion would be? But that could explain why the ladder was broke, but I dont think this is true, just thought I would put it in.
