First day of school

So the other day was the first day of school. (I know, I'm a little backlogged with my posts. :D)

To bottom line it, Janny sux. She's our new teacher. She's cold and sarcastic and stupid and incredibly naive. She actually gave out sweets to those students who answered her questions correctly. Candy, people! Fucking candy..

And oh yea. Just about everyone who was a jackass the day i left school for my break, still's as Jackassy as ever. That's right. Dumbasses.

I've also noticed I've been using the word dumbasses quite often lately. It hurts my tongue that i have to move it so much every single time i call someone that. So from now one, I'll just be calling you DAs. Just a friendly heads up.

WZ's been wearing some new cool clothes lately.. :p They look nice on her.. Sorry. Couldn't help but notice... :p

And Josel dyed her hair.. haha... Which reminds me I gotta go do that sometime... Just like i need to exercise. :p

And oh yea.. Kah Peng and Jinghao broke up. Big surprise eh? NOT... Apparently, they're still very friendly... I don't mine telling yer. I've had a good time watching my soaps... :D And although they've been off for a while, they'll be back. You'll see...

Seeing as how the rest of the posts in my todo list are pretty lame, I'll prolly have something interesting to blog about after tmr when i get back from my (questionably legal) kelong fishing trip and I skip all my other, boring, todo posts.

And I'd just like to muse.

If there's ever been a song that so fucking moved me, it's gotta be Wonderful by Everclear. I mean the words man. The words. erm.. yea...

Damn it. I used to be just tongue tied. Now, apparently, I'm also finger, erm, finger tied.

Hmm....

And oh yea.. Went fishing with The Lorry Gang the other day to our secret spot along with an entourage. We ended up tearing some fuck-up's leng(net).. That fucktard put his leng right in front of where we were casting. So we casted at it, reeled it in, and cut it into pieces.. lol... Just kidding.. We didn't cut it up to pieces... :p

How i spent my birthday in less than 400 words

It was my birthday.

Basically, I blew off a dinner with my folks for a fishing trip which produced no results.

Malau took us to his Senoko spot and then his Sembawang spot.

After that we had a nice "chat" at a nearby kopitiam. Where Malau and Gary talked about their "adult" activities then they had had.. Oldman sat there taking notes... :p

Then they said, "We should bring him(me) to one of these places one of these days. Everyone from Lorry Gang except Ice who's still underage".

Heehee... No comment.. I hereby would like to say I decline that invitasi.. lol.

After that, Malau sent us to the Yishun MRT Station and Gary and I took a bus from there which apparently was way faster than taking the trains...

The end... lol..

FK Fun Fishing Day

Nothing much to say. Entry entered just for history's sake.

We paid $18 to enter the competition.
It was raining in the morning.
Vin got the First Catch prize with an Ah Seng at 240 grams.

Eric Surf with a Marble Ray at 800 grams. or was it 700...
Alex (Storm) with *i forget* at *i forget*. lol.. sorry bro... was it that grouper?
Fatcat with an Ah seng at 220 grams.

Everbody who was there to support the event even those who hadn't registered for the competition went home with something.

Alex who was there since last nite also caught an 800 gram KBL(Barramundi/Seabass) and a est 1KG ray. *i forget again*.. heehee.. real sorry bro.. :p

The place was absolutely dead that day save for those few catches.

Cheers.

ABC-123-Shootyou-Shootme

So finally managed to get a Steam account. Jake from FK gave me this info on a guy on another forum, who was selling his CS CD-Key for $10.

I ended up meeting this guy, Edward, all the way at Yio Chu Kang. I gotta say though. The North-South MRT Line has more than it's fair share of Chio Bu(s).. :p

Swensens

Went for dinner at Swensens for my Sis's birthday the other day. I hadn't eaten a real meal in a while. I ended up eating 2 main courses plus dessert. Needless to say, diarhoeaa set in pertty fast.

I'd like to say I'd enjoyer it but it wasn't really filling. This coming from a guy who's stomach probably shrank becuz he hadn't eaten a hearty meal in a long while..

At the end of it all, my dad sent us home cuz he had to go for a meeting. He dropped us off at the void deck then he rushed for his meeting.

When we reached our house, my mom realised that she had forgotten the keys. We ended up sitting at the void deck while waiting for my brother to go to my dad's meeting and get the key for us.

Sueh.. lol.

BCM and filler.

FK had some problems the other day.. For all your techie nerds out there(and I'm not one of them), I wasn't being redirected to the "Your post has been posted" page. So i didn't know if my post really was being accepted. Me (and a few others), ended up posting multiple copies of our posts on the forum.

Nah behz.. Si beh paiseh leh.. wahaha.. Thankfully, Jack helped me remove my multiple thread posts.

Ice's multiple posts however were in an existing thread so they were just left there. It resulted in him rocketing up the ranking of his posts and he became the top poster on the forum, beating one of the moderators, Michael Lim.

When some fishingkakis had a BCM(Bak Chor Mee - Mee Pork) meeting, we found out that the problem had something to do with some PHP coding errors that one of the volunteer web designers was trying out..

Zeke also jio-ed me for fishing but I had to back out the night before because i had to complete the Lorry Gang logo and his "plan" wasn't very enticing. Was pretty cramped for time the next day so I decided to pull out. Don't think he caught anything though.

Anywayz, check out what i found out from Edwin's post on FK.. :D

Damn hilarious man.. :D

Also, I just realised how hot Madchen Amick really is. Was rewatching an old episode of Joey where she played Sara and I have to say..... She really is HOT!!!! haha..

Cheers.

Pontoon Spot

Not much details to this trip. Just that this spot turned out to be very near to my "literal" playground. A place that i had been playing in and found about 2-3 years back. I know, I'm childish!! haha... I don't regret it one bit though. Those were fun times.. :D

Met the guys in the morning. Had breakfast and then went to SM Tackle to get me a new rod after my last one had broke(on that damn boat trip). All on my own dime.. Which is why I'm broke... :p

Long story short, we reached the spot at around 2. Met malau who it seems was already there.

Within half an hour, we all had bites. Gary caught a 150 gram Ang Cho Kee while i caught a 220 gram Ang Cho Kee on my virgin rod that i had just bought.. :D

Talk about luck man.. :D

Nothing much to say except that Ice wasn't there because we didn't tell him so as not to distract him from his studies(He's taking his O's this year).

Malau and I also had some very very strong bites on his 7 month old virgin rod and on my 68ft rod with a Penn 310 GTI multiplier. My rod was like bending like the number 7. But by the time i had got there, it was gone.

Later on, Malau caught a nice sized flathead and a small ray.

Bites on Vin's and Malau's new super bait were registered at zero.

Oldman also returned from his luring with no fish but with some new and interesting information on that place..

We went home around evening, feeling confident that we had finally found somewhere to call our own.

FusionStream, out.

James Boat trip

This little event actually started from the day before.

When Ice and me decided to go to Vin's spot in the afternoon, followed by an overnight stint at Changi Boardwalk, followed by a boat trip the next day. The 48 hour Fishing marathon you may call it.

I'd done it before. Once.. The results was cuts all over my feet done by barnacles.
This time however, the second leg of the trip was going to be on a boat with the Lorry Gang. So i was to be safe from barnacles.

The day before's escapade produced no fish. At least, Vin's spot had some action. Changi boardwalk however, was dead. No surface action. No nothing.

Prawnstar was there. He also turned out to be my schoolmate, Alex.

Malau was also there but he had to leave early because he was working the next day

Chatted a bit with the guys and realised it was the first time i had fished with Nick since we realised we were neighbours about a year back.

All in all, the day was really uneventful except for when Ice decided he liked my biscuits very much. And I'm talking about real edible biscuits here, not.... the other thing... or things... :p

Long story short, Ice and I were spent by the the next morning when we were to have our boat trip. While we waited more than half an hour for the bus that would take us to Bedok Interchange where we would take yet another bus to Sengkang where we were supposed to meet Vin who would tumpang us to Punggol Marina, Ice and I chatted with Nick on our past fishing experiences.

In the end, Ice and I knew we were gonna be so late that we told Vin not to wait for us and we alighted off the bus halfway to Sengkang and took a cab the rest of the way to Punggol marina where the boat we were going to take was berthed.

We ended up reaching the place before Vin and gang.. wahaha...

Total headcount for that boat trip was at 6 with Vin, Gary, Oldman, Ice, and me plus a "replacement" for malau who couldn't make it named, Theone (pronounced Theeee-on).

We left the docks about 10 minutes off schedule. All of us had a good feeling about this trip. The same good feeling that we had for all our other empty trips it would seem. :p

James, the owner of the boat seemed like a nice guy as he welcomes us on to the boat. His boat war rather small for our group. If everyone was sitting down at one area, it would've been ok. But as we all had only just got on, it was a little cramped. The "roof" also was relatively low so all the rods had to be sticking out of the boat more or less for the whole trip.

We set off to a kelong where we would get some prawns for bait while i "kiasu-ly" began to set up my rod while the boat was still bumping away on the waves. By the time we reached the kelong, I was ready. :p

I stuck on a prawn to my rig and proceeded to set up my other rod which was going to have a floater with a dead mullet 1 metre away from the float. Stinky, dead mullet. Gooey, stinky, and dead mullet.

We reached our first spot within an hour. Gary and I casted our our floaters as far as we could. And then the rest of us casted out paternosters and sinkers.

Then we heard it. A distant boom in the sky. As we all faced the direction of the source, we saw these huge, gray and ominous clouds. Si beh cialat we all said. All but 3 of our trips always saw rain. Granted it was the monsoon season, but the sheer "uncannyness" of which days it actually rained and the days we had our trips, it was very very odd.

We had a few small bites here and there but all in all, we didn't catch nuts. The boatman didn't change spots until the rain had stopped though. About 45 minutes later, the rain quietened down and Vin asked James if we could shift to a post near Hyundai. So off we went.

About 5 minutes in, as we were going to the new spot, our speeding boat suddenly stopped, jerking us all forward and nearly making us fall down. Then James cut power to the engine and proceeded to check the propellers. Apparently, we had hit a "leng", or "fishing net".

James gave it an all-Ok and we set off again to the spot near Hyundai.

We reached the spot. Gary and I casted out our floaters which, seriously floated.... way too far.. lol...

Then we realised that this place was damn familiar. Fucking hell!!! It was the spot that we all had talked about recceing during our "haunted" trip. It was a little offshore from the place labeled "Island". Refer here. Nah behz.. I also realised i had been to this spot before, on my very first boat trip, with some pretty good results.

So i casted out but i kept getting sangkut-ed... Nah behz.. I had only just respooled my reel with some Navis 12lb line.. I was afraid the line would eventually snap after all that streching. So i was getting sick of all this tugging and pulling so when i reeled up my rigs to replace the prawns, i let it down to about a foot off the seabed.

Imagine my surprise when i began to get bites. But time after time again, i missed the hookup. Everybody saw how frustrated i was getting so Gary asked if i wanted some of his hooks citing that maybe my hooks were either too big or not sharp enough. Although i had my own hooks, trying his out seemed somehow, better.. lol..

So i tied a 2 hook paternoster with Gary hooks that seemed to be around a size 4. Again, i let it down till about a foot off the sea bed. This time when i got a bite, i managed to hook the sucker up. It was a, as the locals (and me) know it, an Arumugam around the 200 gram mark. Finally satisfied that i was getting something, i rebaited my rig and cast it down again.

I got a strong pull. I struck. Then suddenly line started peeling off my reel. And then it stopped. It was stuck fast. Damn i tot. Some fish must have took my bait then ran into some snag..

I tot the fish was lost. But then i felt some movement from the other end of the line so i tried to strike again. It was stuck fast now. Thinking it was a ray, i slowly waited and pulled and had a tug-of-war with whatever was down there.

It was tiring work. I had battled with whatever was down there for almost 15 minutes now. Oldman didn't think it was a fish. I'd agree with him but he believed it was just a sangkut. Whatever it was, it wasn't a snag i can tell u that. The sucker started taking out line as i was reeling him back at one point.

Then it happened, and i was left dumbfounded, and blur, and even more groggy since i had stayed up all night.

PIAK!!! My rod broke!!! Just above the second joint. For a moment, i stood there dumbfounded and i continued to reel in my line. BIG MISTAKE. Without the tip of the rod to absorb the tension, the line was withstanding some serious pressure. Within about ten seconds, i began to realise what i had done but by then it was too late. I suddenly felt no more tension. The line had snapped. I stood there looking dejected. I had just broke a barely one week old fishing rod that i had bought at around $50 as a replacement for the exact same type of fishing rod that had broke almost a week earlier.

I totally gave up. I went to tie another rig but slowly.. I had totally give up for the rest of the day. After a while and a few more Arumugams from the other guys, James decided to change spots. It was line's up for the rest of them and Gary and me reeled in our floaters. James pulled up the anchor and we were off to the next spot.

About 2 minutes in, we suddenly stopped. Then we started again. But we stopped again. Something was obviously wrong with the boat. After a few starts and stops, James came down and went to check the propeller. Apparently, that hit we took earlier from that "leng" had done some serious damage because he said that we couldn't move anymore. The propeller had been damaged to an extent that no matter how hard it turned, we would only be able to move very slowly and that would also burn a lot of fuel.

So he called the guys at Punggol Marina.

We had to wait like almost an hour for the "rescue boat" to arrive. The boatman though, graciously tried to maneuver us to a spot where we could at least continue to fish while waiting for the "rescue boat".

I did a little trolling here and there, mainly just to get the bait torn off the hook. Cleaning the tackle as we anglers call it.

When the rescue boat finally did arrive, it took them about another 2 hours to tow us back. The speed was painfully slow. Gary did some trolling himself but instead of using bait, he was using a lure.

Vin called malau who was back from his work and asked if he'd like to do some fishing since we wouldn't be fishing on James' boat that day anymore. Malau said ok..

At the end of it all, we ended up going to PPP to fish but nobody actually did that. All of us just went there for a look see. Each of us paid James about $18 instead of the full $60. He actually said that we didn't need to pay but Vin insisted that we wouldn't mind. With hindsight, it was a very generous thing to do. Well, maybe not very.

Oh well.. We live to fight another day....

The "monster" that i hooked up with Gary's magic-hooks(as we now call them as they also caught some fish in other trips when all the others couldn't) was assumed and estimated to be about a 10 kg Stingray or a really big "swimming" stone if u get what i mean. lol

EDIT: On another fishing trip, i saw outside a tackle shop, the exact same type of rod, in the trash, also broken. This rod is the Shakespeare connoisseur. This rod is damn lousy man. Don't ever buy it.

Jacqueline's BDay

The other day was Jacqueline's birthday party at the Aloha beach resort and might i say. That place was FUCKING BIG!!! lol. Think of having four hotel sized bedrooms, plus a living room plus a kitchen plus garden space.. argghh.. just see the drawing.. :p i like drawing!!! heehee...

Whether each room had a toilet i'm not sure but i know that at least two of them did.

But first, a little history on who Jacqueline is. Jacqueline's my cousin from my dad's side of the family. (duh!)

We're like acquaintances. We got introduced too late i guess. lol.

I'm kinda busy rite now so i won't go into details..

The highlights was that the Satay was damn nice, an MP by the name of Mr Teo Chee Hian graced the event while i stuck a camera in his way like the papparazi. Then there was the put-a-string-thru-your-clothes game which everyone seemed to enjoy. And then there was the brave soul, Philana, who sacrificed herself to the karaoke machine to get the party "going" and i use "going" very loosely. lol.

I had seen this girl earlier all alone talking to one of uncles who was cooking the satay. When this uncle came back, he told me, "Go talk to her lah." Now, i have this bad habit of not doing things when people tell me to do them, regardless of whether it's good for me or not. So i made up some crap excuse [it really was crappy] which i assume she heard and I left the area and pretended to do other stuff. Within about 5 minutes, i was kicking myself in the head.

This girl was cute and looked pretty mature. She was also always smiling. She wore a blouse and pants(the name of which i forget) that made her look something like an innocent girl next door. With hindsight, compared to what everyone else was wearing, she looked a bit odd.. heehee.

About half an hour later, food was about to be served and i happened to pass her by but she turned away pretty damn fast as if she was disgusted. Who'd blame her, i was pretty disgusted at myself right about then anyway. I was pretty rude if you asked me.

Anyway, stuff happened and then the minister came. Everytime i had the camera pointed at him, he was smiling. Albeit, a bit akwardly. lol.

If I was a minister, I'd just be myself. I know some people want to differentiate themselves from their "office". I don't give a rat's ass about that.. It's too tiring if you ask me. No offence sir! heehee.

Soon it was time for the games, so the first game was something about... heehee. I'll stop right here. It's my mom's trademark game you see... :p

Anywayz, ever notice how everytime, during games, there must be some jokers who decide that they don't want to "play" so they start to "coordinate and assist" the people that are playing? It's hilarious actually. The girl that I was talking about earlier was one of them. Before the games had begun, she was near the "front of the pack". By game's end, she was right at the back, coordinating.. wahaha.

Everyone seemed to have lotsa fun with that game. However, my dad, the emcee, had to stop before starting another game because my cousin's Dad wanted to cut the cake because the minister was leaving soon.

So, the cut was cake, (duh!!!) and everyone who was important took pictures with the minister and Jacqueline.

Soon after that, the minister left and I had to video him leaving and signing Jacqueline's guest book. If ever there was a harder task for a cameraman it was to have to put down a half eaten cake and rush to the main entrance to taek a video only to find out that there is not enough light but by the time u turn the "night-vision" on (which isn't very long), there are more people standing in front of you and blocking your view.

Anywayz, i followed him right to his var nd it was pretty akward, my uncle - the host-, didn't reay wlk with him so much as followed hm from behind. Then when the minister reached his car(which he was driving), he stopped. Turned 180 degrees, and faced us. Then he said good bye.

It was like the olden times when protocols and timing had to be followed to the letter.. so farny sia!! haha..

When we got back, my dad tried to start more games but the mood was already lost. Nobody wanted to do anything...

Then about half an hour later, this brave girl, the one i was talking about earlier, came forward and asked my mom, the "DJ" (after my brother had cabut-ted from his post), if she could pick a song to sing on the karaoke machine.

So my dad announced "Give a hand to this brave girl, Philana!". I had finally found out her name. I'm not too sure how you spell her name but i think that's the correct spelling.

She sang "The Greatest Love". And when she opened her mouth, by God, it was beautiful. To put it as accurately as possible, she had a... woman voice.

That's the best i could describe it as. Her voice was soulful and unwavering. I think if she had joined Singapore Idol she would've won, or at least got second (Sylvester sux!!! lol).

Needless to say, I was bloody shocked man. In fact, i began to kick myself even harder this time. Everybody else brought their chairs from the dining tables and other areas to the karaoke machine and listened to her singing.

I sat in MY chair, and began to feel even more lost. In fact, i couldn't take it anymore that i called up Ice to plan our trip to Changi Boardwalk next Saturday just get my mind off her.

At least some "good" came from the party in terms of benefitting me.

I finally planned out the Changi Boardwalk trip next Saturday night. It was to be an overnight trip with Ice and some other guys. Then the next day, Ice and I were to go for a boat trip with the rest of the Lorry Gang(next post).

I also met my a cousin of mine that i didn't know existed.. :p Celestine's her name... :p And "met" her sister too, Adelene.

I wanted to go and talk with Philana after she had sung but she was sitting right in front of everyone. It would've made me si beh paiseh to go up and sit with her. Before i even had a chance to swallow what little pride i had, she got up, said goodbye to her friends, and left.

Nah behz.. "Never again man", I told myself.. Never again....

I went home(to the chalet my uncle had given us) and set my mind on the next day. Fishing... :p
Nothing much to say except that i caught some small fish... And that my rod broke... :(

So i bought another one(exact same model) the same day... And it broke during my boat trip, a week later(see next post).

Next post: James' Boat trip

Fishing Escapade

Malau originally invited us to fish with him at this fishing spot that he discovered in Tuas.
But he had promised to send everyone of us back home, because he was going to leave at about 1am... So, that's why i think he decided to change the spot to one in the East, so it would be easier for him.

I'm not blaming him or anything.. I think that was a pretty damn good solution.. haha.. Cheers bro... :D

So I things got pretty heated up at home cuz my mom was thinking about my schedule. I was going fishing tonite. Then supposedly again I was going again on Saturday. Followed by a quickie(fishing) at Ubin from 7 am to about 1pm.. Then it was to go over to Uncle Michael's new Chalet to prepare for Jacqueline's BDay.. But that's another story...

This story rite now is damn spooky man.. lol.. at least when i played it back in my head.

So i was super early that day. (I always seem to be early when it doesn't matter and late when it does.) Gary was super late.. haha... The Lorry driver and his tumpang-ees were on time..

Saw propunk at Gary's shop.

We waited in the Lorry for Gary while Ice helped me buy some Char Siew Rice and Oldman pointed out his expensive and fragile new fishing rod....

Long story short, I bought the Sarong Worms, Malau bought the prawns. Ice brought some dead prawns.

We reached this super ULU spot that had this sign, "No Trespassing" pasted very "vaguely" on the fence that blocked surrounded this spot.

Gary casted in the direction of the green line.

Malau and I took turns between the yellow and red lines..

As you can see, we fished at the place designated "Our spot". Oldman, however, being the si beh hardcore lurer that he is decided to go luring at the place designated, "Land of Stones", which is basically this... arrggh!!! just see the drawing below.. lol...

It's perfectly squared btw...

We all had our rods set up... Ice had alreayd caught 2 catfish, and I had lost this damn active fish that came to the surface of the water then jumped off the hook. Bastard. lol. I'm thinking KBL.. It was in the direction of the Red line.. (See picture above the previous one)

Anywayz, suddenly after Gary had just cast out his rod, it started shaking violently... It was like a very strong crab bite but it lasted for quite long. Gary immediately ran to the rod and tried to strike, but came up empty handed, with the live prawns wiped clean from the hooks.

Malau and I get small nibbles thruout the nite, Icebomb get's no more than those 2 duris, but Gary's rod continues to get these strong "bites".

About half an hour had past and all of us were getting pretty Du Lan-except Malau who couldn't becuz it was his spot- Gary with his never ending "bites", me with my never ending nibbles, and Ice with his lack of any action after those first 2 fish.

So i suggested that we go over to where Oldman was fishing. Besides, he had already recce-ed up till the bridge area there, wat was the harm in fishing at the "Land of Stones". So Ice and I (Gary said he wasn't up for anymore trekking tonite), went to Oldman's spot and began to cast out our lines in the direction of the boat dock...

Within about a minute of casting, i found that my line had gotten stuck presumably behind some rocks. I tried shifting spots to try and tug it out... My line eventually burst.. So i told Ice and Oldman that i was going back and they said that they too were going back(to the place labelled "Our Spot").

Me, being the kind of guy who get's lazy when he sees the end is near and there's not gonna be any action up till when the end comes, i decided to keep one rod. Then i saw the others packing up too, I decided, hell.. I might as well keep my other rod too...

Oldman went to sleep. It's what he usually does when he thinks a spot is dead.

That's when Gary asked if i would mind giving the multiplier a go and see how far we could cast out... I said sure... So he fixed this glo stik on to a weight, and then he casted it out.

It wasn't too bad for a first timer.. haha..
Then Ice tried it, and he got some bee hoon.. Haha..

The thing I like about this reel was that it's always way easier to unentangle birds nest.
So after detangling my line. I took a turn.

I released the lock lever, positioned the rod, and bam i casted out.. Damn it went far.. haha... 60-70 metres perhaps?

Gary also commented on how far it was.. haha..

So i began to reel it back in when we heard Oldman say he was feeling sick... We all gave him a one over and tot it was just sleep deprivation. So we tried to show our concern but also to tell him that the best thing was to just go back to sleep.

I was in about half way of reeling back the weight at the end of the line when Ice and I heard Oldman saying in a weak whisper: "Guys, I'm not kidding."

Ice didn't do anything, probably still thinking it was the sleep.. But I saw that he was looking worse and so i told Gary and malau about it...

I had already began to suspect that one way or another, we would have to be leaving this place quickly so i probably looked pretty self-absorbed as i tried to reel in my line as fast as i could.

He was in a cold sweat and could barely speak. Gary gave him some water and two panadols. The rest of us went back to packing up our stuff as fast as we could. All of us including Gary did the same.

Then as I was packing my stuff. I heard Oldman whispering again.. Even weaker that the first time. In fact, he could hardly move this time. He was calling out for Malau... So I told malau to go see what he wants..

Funny how it seemed that i was the only one that could hear him. Anyway, he began mumbling and babbling on until Malau had to go in real close to try and understand him. That's when we heard it.

"Two Dollar note...."

I had heard this phrase before.. That's when Gary started taking out a $2 note from his wallet and Malau quickly hurried us to pack up and told Gary that we were going to carry the stuff back first. Gary waited for us to leave before doing whatever it is that he did. But he didn't take his eyes of the $2 note that was now plastered, Singapore logo down, on Oldman's forehead.

That's when Ice asked what it was that they were doing. Malau told him to shush and continue packing. About a minute later... Ice asked the same question.. Malau then told him firmly...

"Ice.. Shut up."

Now that i think back about it.. it was pretty funny.. because about a minute after that, Ice asked the same question again.. wahaha..

Malau was like, "Ice. Please. Be quiet."

Anywayz.. we finished packing up and managed to carry everything there, including Oldman's and some of Gary's gear back to the Lorry. On the way, Ice asked me what it was they were doing. I told him that it was some buddhist thing and he kept quiet. We finished transferring all the gear to the lorry, and carefully put Oldman's expensive rod down.....

After Malau had made it clear that Ice was to stay and wait for us in the lorry, he and I went to get help Oldman and Gary back to the lorry. We were about half way there when we saw Gary and Oldman walking back towards us.

It was like nothing had ever happened.

We went to ask Oldman if he was OK but he said "Let's just get out of this place..."

So we quickly left and drove to Changi V for some coffee and to talk about what had just happened. Malau and Gary ended up telling us some stories from their army days too.. haha

After that, at about 2 am, Malau sent me to the chalet and went to send the rest of them home.

Cheers bro.

EDIT: On my boat trip the other day(one of my nexts posts), it turns out many of us knew that spot before, but just from a different angle. lol..

More to come...
