Serenity - The Movie

This movie is based on the Firefly Series where the spaceship's name was Serenity.

The series got cancelled because of "lower" ratings. Lower than a number of other programs, but not low when viewed in it's own right.

This semi "sci-fi" show features 8 main characters and has some very interesting story plots.

The only down side, imho, with this show is that some methods of "cutting and transitions" are a bit too fast. Cut from one scene to the next and then to another and to another. This of course only happened in but two episodes of the entire series.

Because of time constraints and also because the series was probably never going to be resurrected again, the big screen storyline was changed a bit.

But it really tied up a lot of loose ends that were left open in the original series which greatly satisfied it's throng of faithful followers. For those who watched the original series, it's a must-see.
